About the Role:
HILLTIP INC is looking for a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN! This is a great opportunity to bring your craftsmanship and attention to detail to a dynamic manufacturing environment where quality and precision matter.
Responsibilities:
- Apply industrial coatings, paints, and finishes to metal components and fabricated products
- Operate spray guns, airless sprayers, and other industrial painting equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper storage of materials and solvents
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials
Requirements:
- Prior experience in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing painting preferred
- Familiarity with spray painting equipment and surface preparation techniques
- Knowledge of industrial coatings, primers, and finishing systems
- Ability to read and follow work orders, blueprints, or finishing specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proper handling of paints and solvents
Benefits:
- Monday through Friday
- 6 am to 2:30 pm
- Overtime is available - 1 hour per day and every other Saturday
